A gritty return to form for Battlefield

I worked on the narrative team for Battlefield 6 as a senior narrative designer. We wanted all our locations to be authentic and consistent with our story.

  • I worked with our art and design teams to ensure that the narrative was clear and present in all our multiplayer maps

  • I worked with the entire narrative team to hash out a coherent story for the campaign on a very short timeline

  • I spent time in-engine inplementing conditional VO, squad behaviour, subtitles and writing and implementing various kinds of text

  • We worked with the level teams to establish tone and pacing for each of our single player levels, and worked with them to try to hit those targets
